Four points P,Q,R,S are on a line segment such that PQ:QR = 1:2 , QR:RS = 8:5 then find PQ:QS.

qr/rs=8/5

( I converted 1 /2 to 4/8 to make the value of QR in both ratio same)

we can easily understand that pq:qr:rs
=4:8:5
so pq:qs=4:5
