Four realms of Earth are the following:
(a) Lithosphere - The lithosphere is the solid crust of rocks on the surface of the Earth. It is also known as the sphere of rocks. The main part of the crust consists of sedimentary and metamorphic rocks.
(2) Hydrosphere- Hydrosphere is also known as the sphere of water. The earth has been name blue planet or watery planet as it contains 71% of water on its surface in the form of oceans,seas, lakes, and rivers and 29% of land.
(c) Atmosphere - It is also known as the sphere of air . Air is a colourless, tasteless and odourless substance and is mobile, elastic and compressible.
(d) Biosphere - The biosphere is the layer of planet Earth where life exists. The biosphere is one of the four layers that surrounds the earth along with the lithosphere, Hydrosphere, atmosphere and it is the sum of all the ecosystem.
