four resistor are connected in series such that their total resistance is 50 ohm . If the resistance of three resistor os 5 ohm, 10 ohm, and 15 ohm respectively . find the fourth resistor

we know that in series ..........

          R net = R1 +R2 +R3 +R4

putting the values:

        50 = 5+10+15+R4

         50 = 30 + R4

        therefore..........R4= 20 ohm
