Four resistor of 2ohm each are joined end o end to form a square abcd. Calculate the equivalent resistance of the combination between any two adjacent corners.

The answer is 1 ohm.As in parallel connection of resistors of same resistance the eq. resistance becomes half.

Answer 2

There will be a parallel combination of 1 resistor and 3 resistors in series.

So, the net resistance will be (1/1 + 1/3)^-1 = 3/4 Ohms.
