Resistances AB, AD and BC, DC are in series...
R1 = AB + AD = 2+2 = 4Ω
R2 = BC + CD = 2+2 = 4Ω
Now, R1 and R2 are in parallel...
R = (R1R2) ÷ (R1+R2)
R = 16 ÷ 8
R = 2Ω

You have calculated for opposite corners
doesn't matter
AC will also have the same resistance as of BD
