Answer:

area of 1 semi circle is 2r+ πr

r(2+π)

7(2+3.14)

7 X 5.14

35.98 cm²

so area of 4 semi circle is 35.98 X 4= 143.92 cm²

Given :-

  • Side of square = 14 cm.

To Find :-

  • Perimeter of given shape .

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Radius = Diameter / 2 .
  • Perimeter of semi - circle = (1/2) * 2πr = πr .

from image as we can see that, there are 4 semi - circle taken diameter as side of square .

so,

  • Radius = 14/2 = 7 cm.

then,

→ Perimeter of 1 semi - circle = (22/7) * 7 = 22 cm.

therefore,

→ Perimeter of 4 semi - circles = 22 * 4 = 88 cm. (Ans.)

Hence, Perimeter of given shape is 88 cm.
