Let the age of the youngest sister be x months, 2 sister be x + 30 months, 3 sister be x+60 months and 4 sister be x+90 months.

Sum of age = 31 years

31 years in months is 372 months

Therefore,

x+x+30+x+60+x+90=372 (in months)

4x+180=372

4x=372-180

4x=192

Therefore,x=48months.

ANSWER= The age of the youngest sister is 4 years(48 months/12)
