Answer:

{\huge{\underline{\underline{\sf{\blue{Question:-}}}}}}

Four Square flower bed each of side 1 metre dug on a piece of land 7 metre long and 5 metre wide what is the area of the remaining part of the length.

{\huge{\underline{\underline{\sf{\blue{Solution:-}}}}}}

Hence,

Length of the land (l) = 7m

Breadth of the land (b) = 5m

Area of the whole land = l × b

= 7m × 5 m = 35 m ^{2}

Side of a square flower bed = 1m

Area of ine square flower bed

= side × side = 1m ×1m = 1m ^{2}

Area of four square flower beds

= 4 × 1m ^{2}  = 4m ^{2}

Area of remaining part of the land

= Area of the whole land - Area of the 4 square flower beds

35m ^{2}  - 4m ^{2}  = 31m ^{2}

Thus,

The area of the remaining part of the land is 31m ^{2} .
