Four square tables with side 1.2 m each are placed end to end to form one big rectangular table. What is the perimeter of this rectangular table?

well we know the perimeter of a rectangle equals to 2 ( l + b) and if we arrange the tables then the arrangement length will be 4.8 metre and the breadth will be 1.2 as it was before then we simply put this value in the formula and we get 12 as a perimeter of this rectangular figure

Dimensions of the rectangle so formed,
Length=1.2*4=4.8 m
Breadth=1.2 m
Perimeter=2(l+b)
=2(4.8+1.2)
=2*6=12 m
