Given : Four times the smallest of three consecutive integers is three more than three times the largest.
To Find : the middle integer.
Solution:
Let say Middle integer is N
Smallest = N - 1
Largest = N + 1
Four times the smallest = 4 (N - 1)
three times the largest = 3(N + 1)
4 (N - 1) = 3(N + 1) + 3
=> 4N - 4 = 3N + 3 + 3
=> N = 10
middle integer = 10
9 , 10 , 11
36 = 33 + 3
9 * 4 = 11 * 3 + 3
