Let Ramu's age be x

Let Rahim's age be 3x

Their age now = x + 4 and 3x + 4

Their age after two years = x + 4 + 2 = x + 6
And, 3x + 4 + 2 = 3x + 6

A/q,

3x + 6 = 2(x + 6)

3x + 6 = 2x + 12

3x - 2x = 12 - 6

x = 6

Ramu's age => x + 4 = 6 + 4 = 10 years

Rahim's age => 3x + 4 = 3 × 6 + 4 = 18 + 4 = 22 years

\huge\mathcal{Solution}

★ Let Ramu's age be x

★ Let Rahim's age be 3x

→ Their age now = x + 4 and 3x + 4

→ Their age after two years = x + 4 + 2 = x + 6

And, 3x + 4 + 2 = 3x + 6

A.T.Q

\large\sf{3x + 6 = 2(x + 6)}

\large\sf{3x + 6 = 2x + 12}

\large\sf{3x - 2x = 12 - 6}

\large\sf{x = 6}

Ramu's age ⟹ x + 4 = 6 + 4 = 10 years

Rahim's age ⟹ 3x + 4 = 3 × 6 + 4 = 18 + 4 = 22 years
