Answer:

age of his son = 14 years

age Mr.Dhundu = 44 years

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

4 years ago age of Mr.Dhundhu was 4 times the age of his son.

After six years from now he will be 10 years more than twice the age of his son.

To Find :-

Their present ages.

Solution :-

Let ,

Age of Son of Mr. Dhundhu be 'x' years

Age of his son four years ago = x - 4 years

Age of his son after 6 years = x + 6 years

According to question :-

1) Age of Mr.dhundhu 4 years ago =

4(x - 4)years

= 4x - 16 years

→ Present age of Mr. Dhundhu = 4x - 16 + 4 years

= 4x - 12 years

2) Age of Mr.Dhundhu after 6 years =

= 10 + 2(x + 6)

= 10 + 2x + 12 years

= 2x + 22 years

→ Present age of Mr.Dhundu = 2x + 22 - 6 years

= 2x + 16 years

∴ 4x - 12 = 2x + 16

2x = 28

x = 14 years

present Age of his son = x = 14 years

Present age of Mr.Dhundhu = 2x + 16

= 2(14) + 16 years

= 28 + 16 years

= 44 years.
