 \frac{1}{3}  -  \frac{1}{6}

after taking LCM you will get 6

as it is lowest number divisible by both

now

 \frac{(1\times 2 ) - (1 \times 1)} {6} \\  =   \frac{2 - 1}{6}  =  \frac{1}{6}
