To add any fractions ,

- Bring all the denominators to same number by dividing and multiplying the fraction by required number

- Find LCM of denominators and then add them accordingly

example:

1/6 + 1/5 + 1/12

LCM of 6,5,12 is 60
so
10/60 + 12/60 + 5/60
= (10+12+5) / 60
= 27/60
= 9/20  is the required sum
