The rain
Perched on a wayside rock,
A toddler, weary of uphill walking,
Was enjoying his little break,
When suddenly it began drizzling.
Off ran he to a thatch hut
And watched as it rained cats and dogs.
The pitter patter turned into a loud torrent,
Enjoyed by the loud-throated frogs.
And everything came to a standstill,
As the mizzle grew into a downpour.
Water came bucketing down,
It was a sunny day no more.
As strange as it may seem,
This very precipitation,
Has the power to
