Frame algebraic equation and solve the problems:
(i)In a class of 42 students, the number of boys is 2/5 of the girls. Find the number of boys and girls in the class.

(ii) Adman’s father is 49 years old. He is 5 years older than four times Adman’s age. What is Adman’s age?

(iii)The sum of three consecutive odd numbers is 51. Find the numbers.


(iv) Aswin says that he has 7 marbles more than five times the marbles Rahul has. Aswin has 37 marbles. (Take m to be the number of Rahul marbles.)
(v)The teacher tells the class that the highest marks obtained by a students in her class is twice the lowest marks plus 7.The highest mark is 87.What is the lowest mark?
(vi)The sum five times a number and 18 is 63.Find the number.
(vii). Anwar thinks of a number. If he takes away 7 from of the number. The result is 23. .
 
(viii).If a number is tripled & the result is increased by 5, we get 50. Find the number.
(ix)In a class of 60 students, the number of girls is one third the number of boys. Find the number of girls and boys in the class.
(x)The age of Ankur’s father is 7years more than three times Ankur’s age. If Ankur’s father is 64 years old, then find Ankur’s age.​
