Let the two consecutive numbers be x and x+1

ATQ,

Sum of two consecutive numbers= 23

x + x + 1 = 23 \\ \\ 2x + 1 = 23 \\ \\ 2x = 23 - 1 \\ \\ 2x = 22 \\ \\ x = \frac{22}{2} \\ \\ x = \cancel\frac{22}{2} \\ \\ x = 11

So, X= 11

and other number is

x + 1 \\ \\ 11 + 1 = 12

So two numbers are 11 and 12

Hope this helps
