c) Raj has 75 more stamps than Mani. The total number of stamps is 325.Find the number of
stamps Mani has

Let number of stamps with Mani be X.
Given,
Raj has 75 more stamps than Mani
=X+75
Also given,
Total no. of stamps =325
=. X+75= 325
=. X = 325-75
= X = 250

Let the no of stamps RAJ is having be 'x'
Let the no of stamps MANI is having be 'y'

As given in the question -

BY CONDITION 1
Both are having a total of 325 stamps
thus x + y = 325 ------------(eq 1)

BY CONDITION 2
Raj is having 75 more stamps than Mani
thus x - y = 75 ------------(eq 2)


BY ADDING BOTH THE EQUATIONS, WE GET :-
x + y + x - y = 325 + 75
2x = 400
x = 200


FROM EQUATION 1
x + y = 325
200 + y = 325
y = 325 - 200
y = 125



THUS RAJ HAS 200 STAMPS
AND MANI HAS 125 STAMPS
