Answer:

z*8=16

i.e. z8= 16

so here we can see that 8 is in multiply form so if we move 8 from lhs to rhs then it will be 16 divide by 8 so when we will solve it will 2. so therefore, z is replaced by 2 so 2*8=16

\huge\bold\red{Question}

  • Frame the equations and solve them
  • ii. If z is multiplied by 8 the result is 16

\huge\bold\pink{Answer}

\implies\small\bold{z×8=16}

  • Hey mate! As it's written to frame the equation so you need to know that framing an equation means writing the sentence in numerical form.

  • So as it's given that 'Z multiplied' we get that we have to multiply z with the given number '8' by puting (×) sign between z and 8.

  • Then it's given that when they both are multiplied they give 16 as their product. So we have to put an 'equal to' sign between z×8 and 16.

  • Which will finally make it z×8=16.

Now solving the equation!

  • \impliesz×8=16
  • \impliesz=16/8
  • \impliesz=2

Varifying!

  • \implies2×8=16
  • \implies16=16
  • \implies0=0

  • \impliesAn expression is a combination of constants,variable and mathematical operations.

 \text\color{red}{Constants-}A fixed value i.e.,any number , such as 1,2,56,100 are all constants because their values are fixed.

 \text\color{red}{Variable-}A non-fixed value i.e., any letter such as 'a,b,x,n' , etc are variable.
