There was a cycle race held at the state level last week. Everything was wonderfully planned everyone was excited and all waited for this joyful day. The cycle race was for a distance of 100m. Many people participated in it. The prize winner could win a sum of 10000. So many people came to try their luck.
In this race my classmate Ravi also participated. I saw him working hard for it day and night. He was going on through a lot of toughness and rigidity so that by mistake also he could not loose. He held a stopwatch in his hand and everyday noted the least time in which he is riding the cycle. He went very furious if he completes the race in his limited time and regained confidence.
I also wished that he could win the race as he was doing a hard work. Ravi was quite a hard working boy. He never loosed hope and tried again and again.
As he has worked so hard he won the race he won 10000 rupees but he was not still happy. I went to him and asked the reason for his sadness. He replied me that he had just earned those money so that he could help the poor but he could not find ways to help them. I advised him to purchase some food stuffs and distribute among the poor. He was quite satisfied with my advise and promised me that he will do so. Then at last I could see happiness and smile in his face..
