Answers
Franklin D. Roosevelt introduced programs to help people without jobs during the Great Depression called, "The New Deal." He created Social Security, Works Progress Administration (WPA) to help build roads, hospitals and schools, and the CCC to help men who were out of work. He also founded the Foundation for Polio in Georgia and March of Dimes.
FDR believed the government should help everyone like people without jobs and retired people. This helped people have a home and food. He also believed we should help other countries during World War II by sending them equipment and joining on their side in the war. It helped save Jewish people.
