कष्णा कुमारा मवाड़ के राजा भामासह की पुत्री थी। वह अत्यन्त सुन्दर थी। अत: उसे राजस्थान की परीके
से पुकारा जाता था। जयपुर आर जोधपुर के राजाओं ने उससे शादी करने की इच्छा प्रकट की। मेवाड़ क
दोनों राजाओं को शादी के लिए अयाग्य समझते थे। जब राणा पर जयपुर के राजा ने बहुत जोर डाला, ता
ने अपने परिवार का सम्मान रखने के लिए अपनी प्यारी पुत्री को जहर पिला दिया। कृष्णा कुमारी जहर
र मर गयी लेकिन उसका कथा आज तक मेवाड़ के बच्चे-बच्चे की जुबान पर है।
