Fred wants to put a fence around his two square gardens using wooden planks. Each side of the smaller garden is 9 feet long. Each side of the larger garden is 2 times as long as each side of the smaller garden. What is the total length, in feet, of the wooden planks needed to go around both gardens?

Perimeter of small garden is 4*9=36
Perimeter of big garden is 4*18 =72
Total =36+72=108
