Frederick, king of Russia, One day rang the call bell but nobody
answered. He opened the door of his room and found his servant fast asleep in a
chair outside. He want to him and was about to wake him up when he saw a
letter hanging out of the servants pocket.
The king was curious and took out the letter and read it. It was a
letter from the young man’s Mother. In it she thanked her son for sending her a
part of his wages to help her in her misery and hardship. The king’s eyes were
wet with tears. He softly went back to his chamber, took a bag of coins and
