m stands for mass

v stands for velocity.

If there is a dog and a horse.

Horse is bigger than the dog. So, Horse will have more mass than dog.

Since,

KE is directly proportional to mass.

Therefore, Horse will have more kinetic energy.

So, it is clear that the object having higher mass has higher kinetic energy.
