Anonymous: ok report my answer........
ty009: I am not telling u I want to report us ans.
Anonymous: ok you can report my answer no problem but I don't think so without knowing log you can solve those problems. Friend in YouTube you can search it you will understand
ty009: I just told u the options available after passage of time in the app these features of app

Answer:

Required correct option is option ( b ).

Step-by-step-explanation:

Given : ( 5.678 )^x = ( 0.5678 )^y = 10^z .

Let the given terms are also equal to k.

Thus,

= > ( 5.678 )^x = ( 0.5678 )^y = 10^z = k

Then,

Case 1 : where ( 5.678 )^x = k

= > ( 5.678 )^x = k

= > 5.678 = k^( 1 / x ) ...( 1 )

Case 2 : where ( 5.678 )^x = k

= > ( 0.5678 )^y = k

= > 0.5678 = k^( 1 / y ) ...( 2 )

Case 3 : where 10^z = k

= > 10^z = k

= > 10 = k^( 1 / z ) ...( 3 )

Multiplying ( 1 ) & ( 3 ) and dividing by ( 2 ) : -

= > ( 5.678 × 10 / 0.5678 ) = [ k^( 1 / x ) × k^( 1 / z ) ] / [ k^( 1 / y ) ]

= > 100 = k^{ 1 / x + 1 / z - 1 / y ]

= > 10^2 = k^( 1 / x + 1 / z - 1 / y ]

= > { k^( 1 / z )}^2 = k^( 1 / x + 1 / z - 1 / y ) { from ( 3 ), 10 = k^( 1 / z ) }

= > k^( 2 / z ) = k^( 1 / x + 1 / z - 1 / y )

= > 2 / z = 1 / x + 1 / z - 1 / y

= > 0 = 1 / x + 1 / z - 2 / z - 1 / y

= > 0 = 1 / x - 1 / z - 1 / y

Hence the required correct option is ( b ).

abhi569: adding because....i knew.... 1/z -2/z will be - 1/z .....and the formed condition...... is exactly same as the given option
abhi569: according to the rules..... when multiplying & dividing.... we will have to multiply or divide all the terms...not in addition or subtraction
ty009: the element gets added or subtracted or multiplied from the whole
abhi569: According to the rules, if a + 3 = c + 5.... then on adding -3 on both sides.... a + 3 - 3 = b + 5 - 3 ____ a = b + 2____ this shows that while adding or subtracting, we have to add or subtract only once..
abhi569: And in this question.... when we added -2/z on both sides....we subtracted that -2/z from 1/z...so 1/z -2/z = (1-2)/z= -1/z
abhi569: added*
ty009: nice example now I understood the whole ans.. Thank u very much
abhi569: Welcome :-)
