Freedom fight has a great value in the history of India. Many freedom fighters and common man had faced a lot to achieve what we have today.  

Explanation:

• The dictatorship of the British was very harsh and people faced lots of problems, this led to the Revolt of 1857 in Meerut, by an Indian soldier Mandal Pandey.
• This became a challenge for British rule, as it was spread throughout the country.
• There were many other such movements that played a key role in securing independence for India.  
• The Civil Disobedience Movement was against the British monopoly on salt.
• Under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi in 1930, It was started with Gandhiji’s famous Dandi March.
• Meanwhile, Bhagat Singh, at the age of 23 along with Sukhdev and Rajguru gave up their lives for our country on 23 March 1931.
• Many were inspired and encouraged by the death of Lala Lajpat Rai to fight against the British.
• Quit India Movement was started in 1942, it shook the pillars of British rule.
• Finally, India got its freedom on 15th August 1947.
