Democracy is a government where people take part in decision making and where the true power rests in the hands of the people.Democracy is spreading around the world as in a democratic country, the people has all the rights, the righr to freedom being one of them, it states that in a Democracy freedom should be a right given to ant citizen. for example, in a democratic country like india, people are given the right to freedom of religion,right to freedom of speech etc.Thus,the ideals of freedom plays a major role in democracy.
