French Boards Exam, In the marking scheme it is given if the topic is misinterpreted only 2 marks will be deducted. Does this Mean that I can write any letter?

Yes you can but its better to write the letter to the topic because the examiner many a times does not look at the marking scheme and he might award you just a mark or half . And if you write the appropriate letter you will get more marks as that section is the scoring section where you can easily get marks.
