 During french revolution people were made to be slaves .Only some part of the society ,that is only the rich people or the landlords were given the advantages and all the facilities needed to live in the society .while others such as the poors or the labourers were not given any such facilities .As a result  this type of society did not lay the foundation of democracy .As per the democracy we need to have freedom ,secularism and no discrimination and even we should have certain rights to live a happy and peaceful life which was not at all present in the french society.Because of this reason the french society did not lay foundation of democracy.
