French society had a feudal structure.' Explain.

It has  feudal structure because here nobles and clergy were the privileged orders who were receiving much benefits from every sector  they also were exempt from  direct tax where as  peasants, artisans, merchants, and professional men bear  the burden of the taxes .The peasant suffered under the burden of out-of-date feudal dues.There was much inequality where the poor that is peasants suffered the most.

French society has feudal structure because 1st and 2nd estate who were Nobel and clergy where having many privileges but the 3rd estate who were merchant, labour, peasents, and other common people were in great problems.
