according according to law of length

frequency is inversely proportional to length of string and directly proportional to square root of tension of the string

so

v inversely proportional 1/L

v directly proportional sqrtT

according to the law of mass frequency is inversely proportional to square root of u

v inversely proportional 1/L

v inversely proportional sqrtu

so

L directly proportional to sqrtu

here mass per unit length = M

so

L = ksqrt(M)/sqrt(t)

where k is constant
