When milk is turned into curd then its pH value will decrease due to the production of lactic acid in curd which is acidic in nature. When milk turns into curd then it starts showing all properties of acid. It turns sour and the ph value decreases from 6.

pH will decrease as it turns to curd because curd is acidic due to the presence of lactic acid.
