increase because of the micro organism called Lactobacilli presence becomes the acidic nature also increases

If the fresh milk that has pH value of 6 changes into the curd, its pH value decreases.

The reason behind this is, curd is sour in taste this means that it is acidic in nature.

When we turn the milk into curd, the microbes do the process of forming lactic acid with the help of anaerobic respiration.

As the acidic character increases the pH value decreases.
