Answer:

Explanation:

According to Eat By Date, once opened, all milk lasts 4-7 days past its printed date, if refrigerated. If unopened, whole milk lasts 5-7 days, reduced-fat and skim milk last 7 days, and non-fat and lactose-free milk last 7-10 days past its printed date, if refrigerated.

Answer:

The freshly collected cow’s milk has some bacteria and that is why it gets spoiled in a few hours unless it is boiled and cooled. After boiling and cooling, the milk stays good for a few more hours. If boiled, cooled and kept in the fridge, it stays good for a few more days.

Milk packed in sachets actually have a life of about 7 or 8 days because they have been pasteurised (flash heated to a high temperature and cooled), packed in fairly aseptic packing and of course kept refrigerated all through till they are delivered to the consumers. We get satchets that have a shelf life of 2 days (the day of supply and the next day), as can be seen by the date printed on the satchet.
