Freshly cut apple turning brown and the iron article shine when new but gradually become reddish brown when left for sometime in open area because of oxidation reaction.

  • Apple contain polyphenol and when you cut the apple oxygen in air react with polyphenol and form oxidation reaction. so colourless cells in apple die when he react with oxygen which give us brown colour.
  • Iron article shine when it is new because the Fe (iron) atoms of palced symmitrical in layers, but  when we put this in open air Fe react with oxygen atom and for Fe02 molecule. this moleclu called rust of Iron which looks reddish brown.

we can control brown colour of apple by using lemmon on is cuting sides, and for iron we can use polish oil which avoid the iron surface from air, and avoid iron article from water also.
