Friction is a friend like it help us to walk if there is no friction then we can slip and don't able to walk it also help us to to write on a black board i.e adequate friction b\w chalk and board...secondly it is an evil because it is unnecessary to wear and tear of machines parts..

1. Tyres and soles of shoes wear out because of friction.
2. Friction between different moving parts of Machines produce heat. This can damage the Machines.
