Friction wears out shoes. So, why don't our feet wear out due to friction?

Explanation:

Shoes doesn't have its own force but is moved by an external force. But it is not the same case with our feet, it has its own opposing force which is greater than the friction.

it is because while walking with shoes wore u slide ur legs a bit whch is just enough to wear away your shoe soul in a years time.

and when u walk bear feet u tend lift ur legs and walk and even if u slide ur legs against the ground and walk u would stop doing it in a minutes time cuz u dont want to hurt ur legs and bear the pain but it would still heal back to normal in a few days time.

or scientificaly, Friction produces heat, but some of the energy is wasted in overcoming friction. It causes wear and tear of sole of shoes. For example, the sole of our shoes wears out after prolonged use because of friction with the rough road surface.
