Atomic mass of an element is no. of protons+no. of neutrons. So, no. of protons in helium is 2, and no. of neutrons in helium is 2, again. Hence, atomic mass of helium is approximately (because few more things are there to be added) is 4

prerna16: can anyone give me the correct answer plzz
prerna16: thankyouuu
Tamanna135: This is the correct answer
prerna16: but are you sure with ur answer??
Tamanna135: Please give me a star or two :)...and yup, m alsmost sure of my answer
