Synapse is a gap between two axon terminals. It is a place ewhere electrical impulses r transported. Due to this a connection between two neurons takes place. It is a very important gap due to the transportation of signals. At the end of the neuron, the electrical impulses sets off the release of some chemicals. These chemicals cross gap or synapse and start an electric impulses in dendrite of another neuron. This is how synapse help in coordination
