* In physical chemistry you should practice a lots of problems along with theoretical parts.O.P. Tandon is the best book according to me. Almost all the topics are well covered but the topics like Energetics, Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, Solutions and Electrochemistry are very well explained. ITcovers both theoretical and numerical problems. It also has numerous solved numerical and practice papers.you can also preferP.Bahadur to lots of practice but it doesn’t contain theory ....

* In Organic chemistry you have to deal with chemical reactions and mechanisms. Have a good command on them because this is the portion which can provide you a lots of marks within a little time. O.P.Tandon would be the good book but if u look for the best then go through Solomons Organic Chemistry .Almost all the topics in the book are covered quite well but the Solomons Chemistry book excels in the way it explains Stereochemistry....

* Inorganic chemistry is that portion in which most students have not well commands as it covers fully portion to learn , a little to explain.Best choice to prepare inorganic would be NCERTbooks and if you want more then learn from JD Lee....

I hope it helps u......
