I can't think of 20 but I can think of at least 3 good questions to ask a singer.

What's the name of your band? What's the origin of that name?

What genre of music do you consider your work to be? Who are your major influences?

How long have you been singing? How did you start?

1. Tell me about a time when there was equipment issues that occurred during the middle of a song. What was the situation and how did you react?

2. Tell me about a time when you had to handle an unruly audience member.

3. Walk me through the typical setup, warm-up, and break down procedures for your gigs.

4. Were any of your songs written to symbolise your childhood?

5. How do you feel about the way people interpret your songs?

6. What job do you think you would be doing now if you didn't have your music career?

7. If you were to give someone advice on life or how to start songwriting, what would you say?

8. What has been your most enjoyable song to write? Why?

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is his/her name?

10. Do you like all your songs?
