Answer:

Namaste mate! Here is your answer.

Side of the square plot = 64m.

Length of the rectangular plot = 70m.

According to the question,

→ Perimeter of the square plot = Perimeter of the rectangular plot

→ 4 × side = 2(length + breadth)

→ 4 × 64m = 2 (70m + breadth)

→ 256m = 2 (70m + breadth)

256m = (70m + breadth)

2

→ 128m = (70m + breadth)

→ 128m - 70m = breadth

→ 58m = breadth

☆ Area of square plot

= (side)²

= (64m)²

= 4096m²

☆ Area of rectangular plot

= l × b

= 70m × 58m

= 4060m²

Area of square plot is greater than the Area of the rectangular plot.

Difference of Area of square plot and Area of the rectangular plot

= 4096m²- 4060m²

= 36m²

☆ So, Area of square plot is greater than the Area of the rectangular plot by 36m².
