why? : another angle with 90° or more is impossible. sum of three angles ina triangle is 180°. If one side is 90° sum of other two angles shold be 90° to make the sum of total angles 180°.

side PR is the height of the triangle and QR is the hypotenuse of the triangle. In every right triangle hypotenuse will be the longest side.
