Reason :-

• Here both forces are in equal direction , so let the forces be z...

• Force by X = z Nm/s¹

• Force by Y = -z Nm/s¹ (force from opposite direction)

So , adding-up , we have , x + (-x) = 0 ie,... it is a balanced force..... And also Newton's Third Law of motion ie,... action and reaction but in opposite direction....

So , it will bring car to rest....
