so, x= 14×3/7
x=6
so, x= 14×3/7

I am solving it on the basis if D is midpoint of AB.
then , D is mid- point of AB and x II BC .
so , DE is 1/2 of BC ( by converse of mid point ).
DE = 7 cm...
I think this is the answer
