Friends we all know that the only force acting on us during FREE FALL is our weight itself(no air resistance). Then if we put a weighing machine under our feet it shows 0 kg as our weight. But weight acts on us during FREE FALL, then how it can be zero?
please explain me I will definitely mark your answer as BRAINLIEST if I got it.

Answer:

An object kept in a lift which falls freely, weighs zero on the weighing machine, but its actual weight is still mg. This happens because the normal reaction force exerted on the object in the lift is equal to zero, and normal force equals to mg, which in turn equals the weight of the object.
