A frog is not adapted to living in a desert as there is very less water in deserts and it needs water to cherish it's skin and so it will die due to which it may dry...

Frogs and Toads. ... Although typically creatures of warm and moist tropical climates, frogs have adapted to the harsh environments of mountain slopes and deserts. The Australian water-holding frog burrows underground and protects itself in a transparent cocoon of its own shedskin.
