Step-by-step explanation:

Given that 20% alcohol is there so 80 %water the ratio is 1:4 (alc and water)

Now 2 liters of water is taken out

So in this 2 litres of water 1/5 *2 is alcohol that is 0.4 litre is alcohol and 1.6 litre is water.

The 5 litre solution contains 1 litre of acl and 4 lit of water

Now only 3 litre is remaining in that 0.6 lit of alcohol and 2.4 lit of water

Now 2 litre of water is added so finally 4.4 lit of water and 0.6 litre of alcohol

Now strength of alcohol is 0.6/5 *100

12% is the required ans
