Given:

The total length of rope = 125/2 m

The length of the piece = 76/5 m

To find:

The length of each equal piece

Solution:

After cutting the piece from rope,

 \small \texttt{Remaining length of rope }  \\ =  \frac{125}{2}  -  \frac{76}{5}  \\  \\  \texttt{taking LCM} \\  \\  =  \frac{125(5) - 76(2)}{2 \times5 }  \\  \\  =  \frac{625 - 152}{10}  \\  \\  =  \frac{473}{10} \:  \:   \texttt{or  47.3} \:

Now it is given that the rest of the rope is divided in 11 equal pieces.

So,

 \large \implies \:   \frac{ \frac{473}{10} }{ \frac{11}{1} }  \\  \\   \implies \:  \frac{473}{10}  \times  \frac{1}{11}  \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{473}{110}  \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{43}{10}   \:  \:  \texttt{or  4.3}

Hence, the length of each equal piece is 4.3 m
